The Double Coin REM-18 radial OTR is built for severe loader applications in hard-rock mining and heavy construction. Constructed with special chip-and-cut resistant compounds to promote extended original tread life and long-term retreadability, the REM-18 carries an L5 classification — the maximum tread depth rating — combined with a directional tread design engineered for increased forward traction under breakout loads.

The wide footprint and center riding rib serve complementary functions. The width distributes the loader's weight — often exceeding 50 tons on large machines — across enough rubber to prevent excessive ground pressure and sinkage at the face. The center rib provides a stable platform under the machine's center of mass, improving operator comfort and reducing the lateral sway that accelerates shoulder wear during load-and-carry cycles.

Large wheel loaders are production-critical assets. When the loader stops, the haul trucks stop, the crusher stops, and revenue stops.
