Why This Tire Matters

Intermodal tire economics are different. A chassis tire might only roll 15,000 to 25,000 km per year — far less than a highway trailer. But it sits exposed to sun, heat, and ozone for 8,700 hours annually. Standard trailer tires develop sidewall cracking long before the tread wears out. The IM105's additional antioxidant and antiozonant compound package directly targets this failure mode.
